SYNOPSIS
Imaging course focused on rheumatic musculoskeletal disease of pediatric and adult patients with national and international speakers expert in the field and members of the Arthritis Subcommittee of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR).
The event which will include lectures and interactive interactions between the faculty and the participants is for radiologists working in the musculoskeletal field as well as for general radiologists, pediatricians, and internal medicine physicians interested in this heterogeneous group of diseases. During the course the role of different radiological techniques, including radiographs, ultrasound, dual energy CT and MR will be illustrated considering the main clinical indications, the most frequent radiological signs, differential diagnoses, and disease monitoring during treatment.
The clinical and scientific role of hybrid imaging, such as PET/CT and PET/MR, will also be addressed. There will be also two clinical lectures highlighting the value of integrating radiologists reporting with rheumatologists needs.
